My area is Theoretical Probability. Where should I go? I have a BSc in Mathematics from the Uni of Sheffield and my aggregate score is 90%. I had read in one of your posts that if the result is stellar then go to Cambridge and if not, then go to Bonn. I know that my result is good but I don’t know where it stands. I will need to apply for a PhD in the US in 3 months. I wish to go to Courant or Stanford. Where do you recommend me to go? I’ve never been invited for an interview. Anyway I gave up already. I know the DAAD scholarship is quiet competitive and the only way to select is through interviews.
